Paula founded Medusa’s back in 2003 with a wealth over 30 years experience in the hairdressing industry.
Medusa now in its 17th year.

Paula enjoys all aspects of hairdressing from colouring to hair up however her real passion is for cutting. she specialises in bridal hair & gents where she came 2nd on Essex barbers award in 2015.

Paula has a wealth of knowledge in the hairdressing industry total of 34 years. Paula has been on various of training courses with some of the top leading artists in the industry such as Anthony Moscolo, Patrick Cameron & lee Stafford she continues to want to thrive & learn within the industry.

For those that know Paula, know she is a devoted mum of three whom she is extremely proud of & her new addition to her family is Blue (teacup chihuahua) …Her other passions apart from the obvious is keeping fit with playing netball & is an avid runner where she has now ran the London marathon twice. Her favourite past time would be catching up with her friends whether be a planned night out or a city break.

I’m Becky, I am 21 years old and a qualified level 3 hair stylist. I’ve been working at Medusa’s for nearly 6 years now and it’s also where I began my career into being a hairdresser. I’ve always been really interested in colouring and more so now as there are so many more creative colours out there to do, also my other favourite thing to do is styling hair, to see my clients leave happy is the best result for me. Clients is another favourite thing of mine within the job because I’ve met so many great people and also welcoming new ones into the salon.

Mandy has worked in the industry for over 30years. Starting her career in a salon at the heart of Colchesters’ town centre. Training with Wella International she achieved distinction in both Perming and Colouring. Mandy went on to train with L’Oreal at the L’Oreal Technical Centre in Kensington, London. This afforded her the opportunity to work with industry leaders such as Anthony Moscolo, Toni&Guy Education and Andrew Collinge. Mandy continues to enjoy perfecting her skills and regularly attends courses and training opportunities, keeping herself up to date on current trends and techniques.

Outside of salon life Mandy enjoys a slower pace of life, often to be found cooking, dog walking and camping with her partner and daughter. Favourite things to do always include family, friends and fun.

I’m Danni, a qualified Level 2 hairstylist with a passion for all things hair. My biggest loves in hairdressing are hair extensions and colour—there’s nothing better than creating a transformation and seeing that big smile on my client’s face when they see the final look. That moment honestly makes my day!

When I’m not in the salon, I’m a busy mum to a young boy, and I love spending quality time with my family and friends. Whether I’m creating dream hair or making memories with my little one and partner, I’m always doing what I love!

Pip has been passionate about hairdressing since the age of 15. Qualified with both Level 2 and Level 3 certifications, she specializes in creating stunning hair colours and loves experimenting with new techniques. Her deep passion for hair colouring drives her to continually enhance her skills and stay updated with the latest trends.

When she’s not in the salon, pip enjoys being social and spending quality time with her dog. Her friendly, approachable personality makes her clients feel at ease, and she takes great pride in helping them achieve their dream hair.
